The public is advised to avoid waters near the Kaneohe Marine Corps Base Hawaii Wastewater Treatment Plant's ocean outfall due to a discharge of wastewater that exceeded the daily maximum permitted fecal indicator bacteria level. Affected waters: Kailua Bay, Oahu Exceedance was discovered during routine sampling on 4/10/2026. Signs have been posted. The public is advised to remain out of the affected area until this advisory has been cancelled.
